Summer riding trousers for tour riders

Keep cool and protected during rides in higher temperatures with the REV’IT! Airwave 3 trousers. These stylish and affordable trousers are designed specifically for hot weather riding.

Airflow to the body is provided by PWR|shell mesh panels at the front and back of the garment. They are equipped with the comfortable and lightweight CE-level 1 SEESMART™ armour at the knees and hips to keep riders safe and protected in case of a mishap.

The adjustment straps at the hips can be used to get the perfect fit to your body. The Airwave 3 trousers are designed to be worn on top of jeans or shorts if needed.

Outer shell material

Artificial Leather
A synthetic version of leather with a similar look.

High density polyester 600D
This fabric takes polyester yarn and weaves it with a finer polyester yarn, to create a high woven density that increases protection and abrasion-resistance.

PWR|Shell mesh
This PWR|Shell is knitted in an open structure, to allow for breathability and flexibility, which maintains comfort as well as safety.

Stretch ripstop
Freedom of movement without sacrificing protection. This highly abrasion-resistant and stretchable fabric is made of Polyester 75D with elastane.

Sure grip
Sure grip fabric or leather features a special, texturized print, which offers an excellent grip under high-performance riding conditions.

Laminated reflection at calves
Reflection panels ensure excellent visibility at all angles, allowing the wearer to be seen from all directions. To offer a more sophisticated look, the reflection panels are welded to the fabric. This welding process also eliminates stitching seams, making the garments safer.

Love these trousers

Light and comfortable with tons of ventilation but a great quality so feel they are up to the job of providing protection. So good 2 weeks later i purchased a second pair. So now have silver and black pair. Could not be happier.

Plenty of ventilation

Riding with these pants in the 45oC heat in SA they were still able to provide plenty of air movement. The knee protection sits at the perfect spot and the length is spot on with the options of short or std legs.

Huge improvement

I've been riding around sweeting up a storm on these hot summer days BUT with the Airwave 3 pants are great. The cooling effect is fantastic. These are a must have if you even consider riding in shorts, these are the best option I've found on the market. ATGATT. All the gear all the time

A year ago, I bought a sports-tourer that, thanks to the increase in wind protection, turned out to be warmer than my previous bikes. So I've been trying to find clothes with good ventilation--preferably something in a lighter colour. The Airwave pants tick all the boxes and have proved to be comfortable from the beginning. Airflow is very good, and the fit has sufficient adjustment to make it all work. I ordered a medium and currently, on a good day, wear 33-inch waisted jeans. That's about the max for these, but maybe I can drop a cm or two. The knee and hip pads are thin enough to be comfortable but are said to be protective. I previously had a pair of pants from one of the prestige brands that claimed to flow a lot of air but they couldn't come close to these.
