The Caliber gloves (as part of the DIRT Series collection) feel perfectly at home on or off-road. Why? Because this snug-fitting pair of hand protectors combine the best of both leather and mesh. In order to keep your hands safe, these CE-certified gloves incorporate PWR|Shield fabric at the palm for maximum abrasion resistance. The top of the gloves are constructed with well-ventilated PWR|Stretch mesh and flexible TPR protection is found on the fingers and knuckles. This combination – along with stretch in all the right places - provides optimal freedom of movement and the armour necessary to keep your hands safe whether riding on the asphalt or exploring off the beaten path. Additionally, the comfortable neoprene cuff will keep dust and water out of the gloves.
Injected ventilated flex knuckle
This knuckle protection is injected in the upper material which makes it very flexible and abrasion resistant. Due to its structure it ventilates very well while keeping you safe.
Outseam stitching by Guterman
Marketing calls it PWR yarn
PWR|Shield at palm
PWR|Shield is created with a unique knit technique which results in a fabric with unsurpassed cut, tear and abrasion resistance levels. This product is equipped with PWR|Shield at the palm.
Connect finger tip fabric
Never take off your gloves again to answer your phone or navigation system. The connect fingertip has been specifically designed to operate touch screens.
Corduroy
Goatskin
Tanned leather made from goatskin is considered extremely durable, and is often used for gloves and other products that require a soft hide.
neoprene
Neoprene is a synthetic rubber useful for protective gear. It is abrasion-resistant, chemical-resistant, waterproof, somewhat stretchable, and buoyant.
FGS158
I purchased these for their ability to work with a touchscreen. That part works amazingly. The inside of them is a little sharp/uncomfortable but other than that. I love them
Chose size M and it fits perfect. Ride Type:
Street Naked/Commuting
Usage: Summer gloves
Pros:
- Love the short cuff and the neoprene feeling on the wrist
- Large loops to pull when putting on the gloves
- Can reach and feel the controls easily
Cons:
- Lack of wrist and finger protection (Wish the pinky finger was more protected and the palm slider was reinforced with plastic/carbon rather than a small cushion with leather)
- Breath ability /Lack of air flow (Using the gloves above 26ºC and got home with sweaty palms)
After needing to size up comparing to other brands, the gloves fit really comfortable and feel good quality.
Also the customer service was really helpful with sizing. I advise to reach out to them if coming from other brands.
I used the glove on a recent >6000 km trip from Perth to the Pilbara and West Kimberley regions.
The glove performed well in temperatures from 10 C to 43 C, in terms of comfort, fit, feel of controls, and breathability. Indeed, after break-in and the softening of a rough seam in one glove, I reckon the gloves are probably the most comfortable I’ve ever used. The stretch fabric near the wrist closure and breathable mesh on the back of the hand and beneath the protective cover contribute to their functional design.
The construction and design is such that I feel the gloves are suitable for on- and off-road use, and indeed, are an ideal, short cuff variant for adventure use. The provision of the pull loops was a blessing when trying to put the gloves on clammy hands in the hot, humid sub-tropics in the build-up to the wet season.
Unfortunately, the gloves do not have iPhone touchscreen functionality as advertised, and it is for this reason I rated the product as four-out-of-five stars. This shortcoming is a shame because these gloves deserve a higher score.

After extensively using my Held gear and having recently tested it the hard way with an encounter with a kangaroo I began searching for new riding gear.
Wanting to go back to a laminate jacket (Held has drop liners) and having previously owned laminated Rukka gear, I appreciated the weather protection but found it too hot for our riding conditions in the warmer months, which meant carrying an additional summer jacket on longer tours.
The Revit Dominator 3 immediately stood out. With its extensive venting system, it look to offer genuine four-season versatility, addressing the challenges of Australia’s climate ranging from hot summers to cooler alpine conditions and sudden heavy rain. While the jacket comes at a premium price, its design and adaptability should make it a worthwhile investment.
Going for a first ride in it on the weekend, the jacket initially felt stiff, but it is already beginning to break in. Thankfully the ventilation performance is excellent, in 29°C conditions, opening the chest and sleeve vents delivered strong airflow throughout the jacket, and if the Gore-Tex membrane performs as expected, it should also provide outstanding wet-weather protection. I am almost looking forward to a decent wet weather ride just to confirm that my choice was justified.
The build quality is exceptional, adjustability is extensive, the detailing around the removable rain cuffs and collar is impressive, and durability appears promising, likely offering a decade of service with proper care. Overall, the Revit Dominator 3 earns a strong five-star rating from me so far.
Now I need to save for the pants. I wasn't planning on purchasing just yet, but having discovered my current Held ones are not as intact as I thought after “testing them”, I will need to move them up the priority list.
really happy with these. well constructed and good quality .. I'll be buying more revit jeans in the future
This jacket is amazing. Not only is it great looking, well ventilated and true to size the additional water proof jacket and thermal liner can both be worn separately and both look great. I looked at a lot of jackets prior to this one and am thrilled with the style and all the little details like full chest vents and tabs for holding open vents. Jacket is true to size.
Very good quality and is what they said it was XL WAS Right size
