Removing PFAS while maintaining total waterproof integrity, without compromising the durability and abrasion resistance required on the tarmac, presented a massive technical hurdle across the industry.
Five Years of Rigorous Testing
We refuse to trade safety for sustainability. Over the past five years, our engineering team in the Netherlands has developed and tested eco-conscious alternatives through thousands of trials. Every potential solution faced strict evaluation across three environments:
- In the lab: Checking fabric strength, breathability, and coating longevity.
- In the field: Subjecting materials to intense weather, high UV, and harsh conditions.

Our Phased Transition to PFAS-Free Gear
Transitioning an entire technical lineup takes time, and we are actively rolling out this change across our range.
Several products in our current collection are already completely PFAS-free, and every new production batch moving forward is being manufactured with eco-friendly, durable water-repellent (DWR) treatments. This staged approach ensures that every garment meeting Australian riders maintains uncompromised safety while steadily reducing our environmental footprint.
