Our first motorcycle jeans collection saw the light back in 2012. No, we weren’t the first to offer motorcycle jeans, but being dedicated to challenging the status quo, we certainly decided we were going to do things differently. And for our first ever jeans collection, we set ourselves two lofty goals: creating the most fashionable motorcycle jeans while bringing a significant contribution in terms of safety to the table, for both men and women.
In order to achieve our ambitions, we extensively worked on developing materials that are strong but don’t stand in the way of creating a pair of jeans that look - and feel - like your everyday denim; a principle that follows our Tailored Technology design philosophy.
CORDURA® DENIM Developed together with Cordura® - known for their highly abrasion-resistant textile fibers - Cordura® denim came to life. Mixing Cordura® fibers with high-quality denim, we managed to create an extremely abrasion-resistant outer shell material with the right look and feel. And thanks to blending in a COOLMAX® element, moisture is wicked away to keep you comfortable. But wait, there’s more… The time when motorcycle protectors were merely shock absorbers ended for us the day we started developing the first ever REV’IT! protector. In our case: SEESOFT™. Rather than letting the material do all the work, our SEESOFT™ protectors work intelligently by combining the characteristics of the material with a smart construction.
PWR|SHIELD Despite the already extremely strong characteristics of Cordura® denim, we developed our renowned PWR|shield knit. We then added it to the high impact risk zones of our jeans – at the knees and seat. A thin layer of PWR|shield makes a world of difference. When combined with Cordura® denim, it even surpasses leather in terms of abrasion resistance.

One of the functionalities that comes standard on our leather and textile jackets is the option to securely connect it to your trousers thanks to incorporated zippers. Jeans don’t come standard with this functionality, but clever thinking saw our Safeway 2 belt come to life, both in a regular version as well as a slimmer “Safeway 30” belt.
